Kim Hyomi a product designer from Korea, won The Red Dot award for design concept in 2007. Tile + Light is a series of five differently configured customizable light fittings that is designed to be adaptable to different environments. Their modular configurations enable the user to arrange them to relate to the spatial qualities of particular environments, or according to the user’s preference. Now with the help of investors she is developing the product for the commercial market.
